The WAVLINK AC1200 Dual Band WiFi 5 Access Point is a high-power, cost-effective outdoor wireless solution for properties that need reliable extended coverage without the premium price tag of WiFi 6 or 7. Rated IP65 for dust and water ingress protection and hardened with 15KV ESD protection and a built-in lightning arrester, it is engineered for outdoor deployment across rural properties, farms, construction sites, caravan parks, and commercial facilities. Built on the proven WiFi 5 (802.11ac) standard with up to 1000mW transmit power, it delivers combined speeds up to 1200 Mbps across dual bands with dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. Operating across a wide temperature range of -30°C to 70°C, it handles the full extremes of the Australian climate.

• Four High-Gain Detachable Antennas: Four 7 dBi omni-directional detachable antennas deliver strong dual-band coverage across large outdoor areas. The detachable design allows antenna replacement if damaged in the field.
• Multi-Mode Deployment: Supports Access Point (AP), Repeater, Router, WISP, and Mesh Extender modes for flexible integration into a wide range of network topologies and outdoor deployment scenarios.
• Integrated Passive PoE: Powered via integrated passive PoE over a single CAT5e cable, allowing installers to mount the unit where it needs to go without a separate power outlet at the install point. Dual Gigabit (1000 Mbps) LAN/WAN ports support high-speed wired connections.
• WPA3 Security: WPA2/WPA3 mixed-mode encryption protects against unauthorised access in open or semi-public outdoor environments.

Product Details

The WL-WN572HP3 includes a Reset button, three LED signal strength indicators for easy field alignment, and is managed via a browser-based interface. Note: the included PoE converter is not weatherproof and must be installed indoors or in a protected enclosure. Maximum PoE cable run is 100m using CAT5e or above. Unit dimensions: 180 x 50 x 50 mm (L x W x H).
