Strobe lights continue to flash after ring signal ceases.

There are some Universal Alarms installed where the strobe lights continue to flash until the control unit is powered down. They do not stop flashing when the ring signal ceases.

This problem usually occurs where the Universal Alarm had previously developed a fault and a replacement (Access Communications) Universal Alarm was installed. Check if there is a GlobalTech sticker on the alarm unit. If there is, these unitsare not a standard Universal Alarm and (we think) operate in conjunction with GlobalTechs Strobe Light Controller.
