Yes, however, the loudness of the alarm tones will be reduced. A horn speaker is designed to efficiently reproduce alarm tones resulting in a clearer, louder audible sound. Do not exceed the minimum load requirement of 4 ohms (e.g. 2 x 8 ohm audio speakers in parallel). Each audio speaker should be rated at 8W minimum.
