Can I connect an incandescent lamp instead of a strobe?
A "standard" 12-volt incandescent light can be operated from the "strobe" terminals (3 & 5). The light will be lit on an incoming call and remain lit until the call is answered or the incoming ring ceases. If a horn speaker is also connected to the alarm, you are limited to a 4 watt globe. If there is no horn speaker connected, a 12 watt globe can be used.
The "dry contact output" (screw terminals 4 & 5) can be used in conjunction with an external power supply to light an incandescent lamp. The "dry contacts" can carry up to 5A at 24V DC or AC.
