What kind of audio output stage is used?

The Universal Alarm uses a FET audio output stage that produces a pulsed DC output with an available current of 800mA. The actual output power is directly related to the impedance of the horn speaker(s) that's connected to the Universal Alarm and also to the voltage of the associated power supply unit.
